Cubism is characterized by the reduction and breakup of natural forms into abstract, often geometric structures usually rendered as a set of discrete planes. Analytic cubism and Synthetic cubism are two forms of cubism. The main artists of this group were:

According to Pablo Picasso: " A picture is not thought out and settled beforehand. While it is being done, it changes as one’s thoughts change. And when it is finished, it goes on changing according to the state of mind of whomever is looking at it”
Using Egyptians Frontal law and Picasso´s law for portraits, make a portrait of the peer next to you. The best portraits will be exhibited and will get a 100!

Picasso's first collage Still Life with Chair Caning was created in May of 1912 (Musée Picasso, Paris).
